About Me

I have worked in the computer field for 36 years. I spent the first 15 years as a software developer and the next 20 as an entrepreneur and a technical manager. As a software developer I wrote software for companies like Bank of America, the San Francisco Giants and Pacific Bell.

As a manager I led a team of 17 developers at Sony Electronics that developed the user interface for a “Disk to Air” system for cable and television stations. At the Municipal Railway of San Francisco (MUNI) I was the Program Manager for the Capital Projects division where I coordinated three projects.

As an entrepreneur I led a team of developers that created a Windows clone of a Macintosh product that Apple sold through their Fortune 500 sales force.

As a software engineer and an entrepreneur, I spent much of my time with projects that dealt with communications. I have experience with IP networks as well as bisync and async serial communications. My first experience with IP dates back to the early 1980s.

Today I make my living by creating websites. My specialty in this area involves web applications.
